Gumtree operates multiple lines of business websites within a multi-site WordPress environment, demanding highly coordinated management to ensure a consistent user experience and interface across every site. The Hurdles

Content Migration Scale: With a long history and a massive volume of legacy content, migrating to the new design required significant planning and coordination to maintain data integrity.
Multi-Site Complexity: Managing consistency across a diverse range of WordPress sites for various Lines of Business (LOBs) such as Cars, Jobs, Real Estate, and Pets presented a continuous synchronisation challenge.
SEO Protection: The comprehensive design overhaul of hundreds of existing blogs and reviews had to be executed with extreme care to prevent any negative impact on existing search engine optimisation (SEO) performance.
